Frank W. Jeeves was a partner in the firm of Jeeves Bros. & Lamb, a transfer, express and general trucking company. The company advertisements stated: “Furniture and piano moving a speciality. Storage. Padded vans for moving furniture and pianos.” The company's storage facility and stables were located not far away at 507 Gorge Road East, near the intersection of Garbally Road and Bridge Street.

This house has been substantially altered since it was first built. It now has a large, two-storey addition and has been divided into a duplex. (Today, the civic address is 510 and 512 Cecelia Road.) But it still has its inset corner porch and part of its original hipped roof.
