Recent news
I've joined the Board of Directors for the Ormsby Literary Society. Named after the eminent BC historian, Dr. Margaret Ormsby, the Society publishes The British Columbia Review, "a lively and inclusive Vancouver-based online journal devoted to the literature, arts, culture, and society of British Columbia."
I've re-engaged with my research on British child migration and the Fairbridge Society. From the 1930s to the 1950s, the Fairbridge Society operated a home for disadvantged children from the UK on Vancouver Island. The facility was officially known as the Prince of Wales Fairbridge Farm School and was located at Cowichan Station near Duncan, BC.
I revised my biographical sketch of Robert Savery, a landscape architect who designed the Heritage Court at the Royal BC Museum and Archives and centennial fountains in Vancouver and Victoria.

My creative space at Central 1 Credit Union overlooking False Creek in Vancouver.
